Blurb: Saying I Do was more than they bargained for.

Carly James values loyalty and friendship above all. So when her best friend calls asking her to be a proxy bride, she says, ‘yes.’ How hard can it be to say ‘I do’ so that her best friend can be with the one she loves? Only, Carly never counted on the feelings that began to swirl around with the proxy groom.

Damien Nichols likes life lined up from A to Z, but when his best friend calls in a favor, disorder begins to reign. Instead of taking a quick flight to the proxy wedding, he has to take a road trip with the proxy bride. Carly’s free-spirit attitude bumps heads with his meticulous approach to life. As Damien discovers the woman underneath the carefree façade, his emotions become involved.

I fell in love with Toni’s work when I read Once Upon A Christmas. It was a collection of Christmas novella. Her’s was my favorite. If you haven’t read that I did a review for it, you can find it here. For those of you who haven’t met her, here is the talented Toni Shiloh.

Bio: Toni Shiloh is a wife, mom, and Christian contemporary romance author. Once she understood the powerful saving grace, thanks to the love of Christ, she was moved to honor her Savior. She writes to bring Him glory and to learn more about His goodness.

1. Tell us bout yourself?

Well what can I say that my bio doesn’t cover? I’m a rabid Dallas Cowboys fan and during football season, you’ll see me decked out in jerseys and all things Cowboys. I love reading and always have a book nearby for when I’m not writing.

2. Where you get your ideas and inspirations?

I get my ideas everywhere really. It could be a line in a song, a commercial or tv show that makes my mind begin to wonder. With A Proxy Wedding, my publisher asked me if I would be interested in writing a wedding story. I did some brainstorming and that’s what I came up with. It’s great to be able to re-release it.

3. Tell why we will love A Proxy Wedding?

You’ll love A Proxy Wedding to get a view of the world you may not have experienced. You’ll enjoy seeing two unlikely people come together and realize they’re more alike then they realize.

4. How many books have you written and which is most dear to you?

I’ve written 15, 13 of which are published. And I’m not sure which one I would pick as most dear. For the longest time, it was Finding Love, book 2 in my Maple Run series. Then I wrote book 4 and that quickly became a favorite. I will say one of my works-in-progress has been so fun to write. All in all, there’s something special in each of them for me.

5. What do you hope your readers would glean from your books?

I love when a reader writes me personally or leaves a review letting me know how much God’s truth and the scriptures effected them. That’s when I know I’ve done what He’s asked of me.

Here is a list of Toni Shiloh’s books.

Maple Series. Buying love (book 1). Finding love (book 2). Enduring love (book 3). Risking Love (book 4).
