What makes this study on Ephesians unique compared to others?

I find when I work through things and solve problems for myself, I am more likely to remember them. That idea carries into the study. This study emphasizes thoughtful questions and discussion over direct instruction about Paul’s teachings, intending to spark discussion and even debate so that participants form their own understanding through the Holy Spirit and sister “sharpening” sister.  

In that way, participants are actively building their own understandings of what Paul said and what is referenced in Ephesians from the Old Testament. By building that understanding rather than merely hearing it or reading it, we are perhaps more inclined to also recall and apply that learning. This study is designed to encourage the new believer as well as the seasoned veteran of Bible study through considering not only the epistle, but the cultural context of the day and the time of the Old Testament.
